Presenting a brief idea for the film – ‘Pratibha’
The film opens with a wedding scene of a rural girl, Pratibha, and an urban boy, Nilesh. The couple's wedding attires are a clear window to their native disparity. The next shot comes with a glimpse of hard-working female farmers carrying heavy farming tools. While they are busy farming, all of a sudden, the wedding shehnai is heard from a distance. Swiftly, they wind up their work and head towards their houses to dress up for the wedding.
Next scene - Pratibha and Nilesh are married now. Pratibha, with her husband and in-laws, is waiting at the railway station, counting the luggage. Soon, they decide to move towards their platform and as per a socially approved behavioral pattern, all the male members of the family managed to lift the heavy luggage whereas the females carried the lighter ones. Especially, Nilesh was seen struggling with a load of heavy luggage on his shoulders. Midway, he happens to drop a hefty suitcase. He turns around, takes a deep breath, and waits there for a while. Pratibha reaches next to him and lifts the suitcase with a smile.
Nilesh says, “Aree ye to bohot bhari hai.”
Pratibha says, “Mei Kisan hu, boj utha sakti hu”.
